7.45 pm – IDENTITY: ORIGINS & DIASPORA ROUND TABLE

ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION

Enjoy a lively round table discussion hosted by Nicolas Brasch talking to Arnold Zable, Hanifa Deen, Ngahuia te Awekotuku, Lisa Chaplin and Gary Crew as they consider the role of the historical novelist in exploring first encounters in Australia and New Zealand’s colonial pasts, the migrant experience underlying our nations’ multicultural identities, and whether an author’s origins are relevant to the story telling.
