Join us for the HNSA 2023 Winter Online Weekend Program on Saturday and Sunday 1 -2 July 2023. Our Program will feature an exciting line-up of talented authors and industry professionals in both workshops and chat salons. It’s the perfect way to spend those chilly July days.
WORKSHOPS ON WRITING, EDITING AND PUBLISHING
The workshop program features twelve 3-hour workshops covering the ins and outs of editing, publishing and researching together with the craft of writing historical genre. If you're keen, you can fit in two workshops per day. The price is $130 per workshop. Places are limited to 16 people per workshop, so book early to ensure your spot!

our chat salons are back!
Our Chat Salons are one-hour informal sessions with some of Australia’s best authors held in Zoom chat rooms. They’re designed for you to ‘get to know’ an author and other historical fiction fans from the comfort of your own home. You can converse directly to them, communicate via the chat function, or simply ‘lurk and listen’. Whatever suits!
This year the focus is on historical food, fashion, vocabulary and finding hidden research gems. The salons will be held in the afternoons on Saturday and Sunday 1 & 2 July. The price is $15 each.
