Two years in the planning. Two days of celebration! The HNSA Conference was a blast and a terrific time was had by all. We’re so glad our community could finally catch up again in person and the ether. We’re proud to have brought you a hybrid conference with all sessions livestreamed to an online audience. This meant we could include authors from around the globe as well as connect with attendees across geographical boundaries!
Many thanks to our wonderful team: Cecilia Rice, Elisabeth Storrs, Ginny Quirk, Greg Johnston, Chris Donoghue, Diane Murray (as pictured) and all our volunteers. It was such a pleasure to work with you.
Huge thanks also to all our stellar authors and interviewers. Thanks also to Diana and Duncan Johnston from Hill of Content Bookshop who did a roaring trade selling our authors’ books.
And finally, thanks to all who attended our 2023 HNSA Conference!
CONFERENCE RECORDINGS ARE NOW AVAILABLE

congratulations to our first page pitch contest winner -robyne young
Our signature TCW First Pages Pitch Contest was won this year by Robyne Young with an excerpt from her WIP, Moon Child. Congratulations! Robyne has been with HNSA from our first conference in 2015 so we’re delighted to see her succeed. Her prize consists of $250 from TCW and an associate membership of the ASA.
