Workshop: Beyond the Horizons – Writing Stories and Series that Connect with Young People with Brian Falkner

In this fun workshop Brian takes you through his creative process, from story idea through to editing, with an emphasis on writing a series. Topics covered include the principle of story, character empathy, the framework of writing and creating suspense. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to construct a story, and a series that will appeal to young adult readers.
About Brian Falkner
Brian Falkner loves telling stories, either in his books, or standing in front of an audience. He is the award-winning, bestselling author of more than twenty books for children and young adults.
