The short list and winner of the contest will be announced by our judge, Sophie Masson, at the conference dinner on Saturday 26 October at Sahra by the River.
The winner will receive:
- A prize of $500
- A free membership of the Historical Novel Society.
The three short listed entries will be published in a special issue of Backstory Journal. Runners-up will also receive a book pack from Eagle Books.
